Talibans are in trouble now. πŸ˜€
Majority were already against them laiken with this, it becomes 99%. Nothing on earth can take Naswar & Chai away from us. BTW, I prefer Naswar over Cigarette. It harms only the same person who use it unlike cigarette. Who who has tried Naswar among you guys? πŸ™‚

I haven’t! Neither naswar nor cigarette or pan. My friends here consider me the ONLY naswarless pathan which is quite moronic on their part as naswar nowadays is sort of a universal nasha or chaska unbounded by ethnicity or race πŸ™‚

Hahahaha……. sure…talibans are in for it….The wrath of our pathan brothers….I ve never tried naswaar but I ve had many friends who were addicted to of em used to say it was “PARIYON WALA NASHA” — as he said that one could see fairies dancing after having it πŸ˜€

Btw… I think Aadil is right, naswaar is no more a PATHAN ISSUE. It is universal πŸ˜€

Naswar is universal in America it’s called ‘chew’… πŸ™‚

And come on how come I ever try naswar… it is yuckie though women tend to do it here πŸ˜›

BTW, I prefer Naswar over Cigarette.

I have sounded as if I am a chain smoker… or use saloor saloor ghoti of naswar at a time…
i don’t like any of the two… tried cigarette once in childhood & what a non stop coughing reaction that was… prefer se matbal hay k I like naswar addicted ppl more than that of cigarette addicted.

i had friends who were naswar addicted. When somebody would visit from pind, the first Q. they asked… soomra de ravaRi dee (kitna maal laayay ho?) :).. Its not that naswar is not available in Lahore but according to them, pind valay ki alag baat hay…

Aadil, when we ‘l meet insha Allah tau we are going to try SHEESHA… the stylish form & harmless as well as they tell… ok!!! tumhari baari pehlay hogi. πŸ™‚

I guess we also used Naswar as anesthesia during the di-section of Rana-Tigrina experiment in biology Lab.

@ bmk .. there is a very cool place to enjoy sheesha at rwp … in the commercial market .. cafe dine light I guess … dim lit environment, light music and what not .. we had a visit to the place but preferred coffee instead .. we rather enjoyed to be amid the colorful smokes that people blew inhaling sheesha vapors ..

A pathan friend of mine told me that the best naswar experience can be had by popping in a piece of it in your mouth just before going to sleep. He said that the dreams one would have would probably stop you from having naswar again! I guess it’s worth a try πŸ˜‰

The best experience according to my knowledge is that after tea or something sweet. Some people particularly have tea for this purpose.

do share your experience before trying before sleep. πŸ™‚

@Ayesha, I am surprised to know that naswar is being used in America as “chew”! Do Pakistani’s use it or Americans use it too?

bmk, sheesha is not harmless at all. Its one session is more dengrous than a pack of cigs.

btw, i tried naswar as well. there were many types of naswar and when ‘maal has arrived from pind’ in university, we would be invited to try it out.

Farhan: Americans use it. Don’t you know America too have ‘paindoo’ people called hillbillies πŸ˜›

They use it… ok it may not look like our typical NWFP greenish/brownish naswar but still… πŸ™‚

I am from India and there naswar is used in Punjab and Rajasthan states where there is a huge Pathan population. That is black in color and brand is GhoDa Chhap. Usko laganay ke baad bandaa GhoDa ban jata hai aur GhoDa bananay ke baad kyaa karta hai…aap jantay hongey….Rail banaa detaa hai…Dil de aalnay jaa baitha dildar kabootar banakay….surma lagakay….hum yahaa india men naswar lagakay khoob chauDi(wide) kartey hain…
